JW King George V: neat
Nose: Dried fruit, iodine, wood, deep fruit, grass, leather, wisps of of of sweet smoke, honey.
Palettes: Velvet, complex, citrus, hints of bitterness, coats the tongue.
Finish: Spicy Gently warming, deep and long.
Notes: Vs. Blue Label - smoother, more dimensions
Port Ellen – big fat Islay whisky. Big mouthfeel and character.
The texture of KGV changes with water and the fruity tastes and flavours come through but soft, fresh and light with the Blue characteristics of many layers.
JW King George V: dilute
Nose: Citrus, fruit, oranges, floral notes.
Palettes: Sweet notes growing deeper and deeper developing over time. Still fresh and luscious fruit notes developing.
Finish: Long, not heavy but aromatic and fruity finish with hints of smoke at the end.
